Waiting On Wednesday

This week's WoW is The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa!

The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa

Goodreads Synopsis:

Allison Sekemoto has vowed to rescue her creator, Kanin, who is being held hostage and tortured by the psychotic vampire Sarren. The call of blood leads her back to the beginning—New Covington and the Fringe, and a vampire prince who wants her dead yet may become her wary ally.

Even as Allie faces shocking revelations and heartbreak like she’s never known, a new strain of the Red Lung virus that decimated humanity is rising to threaten human and vampire alike.

My Thoughts:

Not sure if I've already picked this as a WoW in the past, but meh, it's worth it. xD The Immortal Rules was a phenomenally written novel that had me clinging to every single word, desperate for more. The unique take Julie took on vampire lore was intriguing and did not disappoint in the slightest. The covers aren't as eye appealing as they used to be, but there not flat out....hideous. At least not the cover for The Eternity Cure. The blue hued pattern they used is pretty, but in my opinion, they should've kept with the original blood red theme. The "refurbished" cover for The Immortal Rules on the other hand....is a whole different story.
