Question:
Is there a song that reminds you of a book?
Or vise versa? What is the song and book?

Answer:

Well I always listen to music when I read books to block out my surroundings, but I don't usually pay attention to what song I'm listening to. It's just kind of.....there. I guess the last song that really jumped out at me and hit me in the face was Demons by Imagine Dragons. I just happened to come across it one day while rereading Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins, and in my head, it felt like two puzzle pieces magically falling into place. They coexisted in perfect harmony, and for some reason, I had to resist the urge to get up and wave my hands around in the air like a crazy person.

  7. You should have waved your arms in the air regardless! Do what feels right - regardless of those around you. Well, avoid illegal things, but you know what I'm going for :)

  16. That's the first I've ever heard of that song, but I love it. But I never listen to music while I read. It's too distracting. Once in a great while, I might turn on music and keep the volume really low to block out some other noise but very rarely.

Thanks for introducing me to that song!
