The action and the tragedies that go on are so well written and its as if you really do express Embers emotions throughout the novel. I loved Ember so much more in this second book and at the end I was itching for just 100 or so more pages gahh!! All and all this is a must read for anyone, young or older, who enjoys futuristic books with romance.

Cath Brookes (SEO in San Antonio)Cath Brookeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05890209675194138368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3567111189276463262.post-30733526960948476282013-04-20T07:39:49.811-04:002013-04-20T07:39:49.811-04:00Ohhhh goodness.. I chalked it up to naiveté and hoped that the author was giving her room to grow into the world that she found she lived in.. oy vey.. I will still give this one a chance because Simmon's is an amazing writer, but it's probably not as high on my TBR list... Thanks for sharing!

Keely @ Realms of an Open MindAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02164717220897142489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3567111189276463262.post-28574832448389589762013-04-20T06:51:43.297-04:002013-04-20T06:51:43.297-04:00I'm sorry you didn't enjoy this as much as...I'm sorry you didn't enjoy this as much as I did. Ember is a hit and miss character for most people, and so far, I love reading about her, but I guess not a lot feel the same way. I agree with you about Simmons' writing style - she's really talented for sure. Great review!

Lyra @ Defiantly DeviantLyrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00854693042786346226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3567111189276463262.post-79514920783180716462013-04-20T01:19:39.110-04:002013-04-20T01:19:39.110-04:00I liked her style of writing too! I was hoping it will get better in Breaking Point. From your review I guess it won't.Thanks! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
